كشف موقع "إنستجرام" لمشاركة الصور، في تقرير له، عن أكثر المواقع شعبية لدى 700 مليون مستخدم نشط شهرياً.
واحتل اثنان من المعالم التاريخية في مدينة إسطنبول التركية (http://ist.alhawatour.com/historical-landmarks/)، مراكز متقدمة، من بين 50 موقعاً حول العالم، كانوا الأكثر تفضيلاً لدى المسافرين، وفقاً لإحصاءات موقع إنستجرام.
وبحسب الإحصاءات، جاء متحف آيا صوفيا في مدينة إسطنبول (http://ist.alhawatour.com/historical-landmarks/ayasofya/)، في المرتبة 27 مع أكثر من 172 ألف و246 مستخدم على للموقع، قاموا بنشر صوراً للمتحف.
ويعود تاريخ "متحف آيا صوفيا (http://ist.alhawatour.com/historical-landmarks/ayasofya/)" إلى عام 537م، بعد أن تم بناؤه ككنيسة أرثوذكسية في عهد الإمبراطور البيزنطي "جستنيان الأول"، ومن ثم تحول إلى مسجد بعد فتح مدينة إسطنبول (http://ist.alhawatour.com) من قِبل السلطان العثماني "محمد الثاني" عام 1453م، وبعد سقوط الدولة العثمانية تحول إلى متحف، وما زال كذلك حتى الآن، ويستقطب يومياً آلاف الزوّار من تركيا وخارجها.
